Yes, the current alpha playtest is completely free to download and play. We only ask for your feedback to help us refine the combat and level design.
Is there multiplayer or co-op? ▼
Yes! Soul's Thorn features a fully integrated Co-op mode so you can team up and cleanse the roots together.
Windows SmartScreen blocked the game. Is this normal? ▼
Yes, this is completely normal for indie games in beta. Windows SmartScreen flags unknown `.exe` files that don't have enough downloads yet. Simply click "More info" and "Run anyway" to play the demo securely.
When is the full release date? ▼
We are currently in active development. We will announce a solid release date after gathering enough data from the current playtest phase.
